Airvortex started out in 2005 after using Hiclones at first, the name came from the vortex airflow the Hiclone product produces to improve airflow dynamics when air is drawn through it by an engine.
We tried Hiclones in a number of our own vehicles and some of our friend's vehicles as well, petrol and turbo diesel. We thought fuel prices were bad back in 2005 so at the time we were just looking for better fuel economy and had tried several things prior which all proved useless. Now we had found a product that lived up to their reputation not just as a fuel-saver, but it was very noticeable how well our vehicles drivability improved. Better low-down torque, only needing light throttle application for taking off compared to without Hiclone. What's more the engines all revved more cleanly and easily. As a small group of friends were all impressed at the results!
I was looking for a business that I could handle in conjunction with work and became an agent and since then have expanded into using and selling the ITG Air filters which work in harmony with the Hiclone product as well as the Morepower Electronic Tuning Systems to also be able to adjust boost and fuel to maximize the airflow enhancements of the Hiclone & ITG Air Filters and really amplify the results.
Whilst these products are DIY it always helps to have someone familiar with the products with stock on hand so we get the right sizes and placement. There is every chance we have worked on a vehicle like yours or similar in the past so let us take the hassle out of your installation whether I am on-site, on the phone or via email. I strive to be honest about what we can achieve and wouldn't have stuck to these products if it wasn't for the dedication and passion of the companies that do the R & D and manufacture these products in Australia and abroad I certainly feel comfortable to promote, sell, install and provide technical and customer support.
