   Hiclone is manufactured in Australia and has been on sale for nearly 30 years.  It is made of high-grade stainless steel and is designed, engineered and manufactured to be safe to install on the intake system of practically  any combustion engine. 

   Hiclone has no moving parts, it simply allows the air being drawn into the motor to be swirled into a vortex or cyclonic pattern which focuses the airflow into the center of the intake system with a very strong swirl. This high velocity swirl (think blender on steroids) enables it to improve the atomization of the fuel or mix the air/gas mixture more evenly giving a more complete and evenly distributed burn on each stroke.  This in turn creates the long list benefits listed further below.

   The patented design has been copied but never to a full extent and never out of the high-quality materials or using manufacturing processes to prevent inherent metal fatigue so when you buy a cheap knock off its a risk that can have devastating consequences to your engine and back pocket as products can be made more cheaply but because of such are mechanically flawed and prone to metal fatigue.  This is not obvious by just looking at the product itself!

WORKS WITH:

  • Petrol, Diesel, LPG, (Dual fuel Petrol/LPG Diesel/LPG) & CNG fuels

IMPROVES:

  • FUEL ECONOMY  on average by up to:    Carburettor 15 to 20%      EFI - 10 to 15%     Diesel - 5 to 10%   LPG - 5 to 20%

REDUCES:

  • TURBO LAG - By installing one or more Hiclones before the Turbo you have effectively enabled the Turbo to draw air more freely and because the air is spinning in the same direction as the turbo it spools up much quicker.  This smooths out the power delivery getting the engines power and torque comming in earlier improving the drive-ability of any turbo charged engine.  Using Hiclones  after the turbo (usually near the inlet manifold after intercoolers  effectively doubles the effect due to the improved airflow and combustion process which also helps the turbo spool up.   Many turbo applications can benefit from multiple Hiclone installations but we recommend a minimum of 2 for most turbo applicatons as best value for money.  But if your chasing maximum gains multiple Hiclones are the go.  (eg 4.5L Twin Turbo V8 Landcruiser  can use up to 9 Hiclones!)  Most 4, 5 & 6 Cylinder engines single turbo engines get the largest gains from the 1st 2 Hiclones installed but additional Hiclones usually installed Pre-turbo can further improve turbo response and drive-ability.

  • HARMFUL EXHAUST EMMISIONS AND BLACK DIESEL SMOKE BY 45 to 50%.
